Four ways to earn extra income

Lately there has been a major decline in the job work force which has caused many individuals to either lose their jobs or not be able to procure a job.  So they have turned to looking for ways to earn extra income from home.  This is a good idea for most individuals including ones that have full time jobs now.  A lot of the ways you can earn extra income can be done after regular business hours and don’t all require a lot of your time.   I have four ways now that I’d be more than happy to share with you.  Hopefully they will help you if you are one of those people looking for ways to earn extra income.

The most common way of earning extra income would be doing something that you can do from the comforts of your home.  A job that entails some type of clerical work; these jobs can consist of virtual assistant positions, data entry specialist, bloggers, forum posters, and email customer service support to name a few.  All these positions require you to have a computer, good internet connection and the ability to type at least 40 words per minute.  They may range in pay of $0.25 an item up wards to $100 an item, or bulk payments upwards of $300 per job.

There is self employment, which a friend of mine just recently did for himself.  If you have a field of expertise that you can capitalize on and don’t mind doing a little hard work this might be for you.  And if you are your own boss, you definitely are in control of all the ways to earn extra income with your business.  You decide what your overhead is going to be based on the business that you are running and go from there.

Captha entry is something that I’ve been seeing a lot of lately as well.  There are quite a few companies that are looking for individuals to do this work for them.  Basically it’s a form of data entry, but it’s more specific to humans vs. machines.  You are reading and keying in those funny looking pass codes that you generally find on websites when you are signing up for something.  The only caveat to this is that sometimes these companies are looking for small teams that can work when most of the world is sleeping.  But they offer a pretty a good answer to you finding ways to earn extra income.

And last but not least is multi level marketing.  Now this isn’t a new venture, but it’s taken on a new life as of late.  More and more individuals are starting to become their own distributors for things that they regularly buy.  It’s even nicer when you are able to sell that product and it keeps providing you with a return, long after you made the first sale.

What makes a Mlm Company a
Top Mlm Company?

I was pondering this topic over with a friend the other day.  We both happen to be working full time in what we consider a top MLM Company and so we were talking about how lately we’ve been seeing that a lot of our friends, family and colleagues are getting out of the corporate scene and starting their own homebased businesses.  Most of them are college graduates with not just undergraduate degrees but also graduate degrees.  They seem to find themselves at a cross road with the way the current economy and job market has been going lately with lots of layoffs, cut backs going on everywhere.

So we’re talking about all of this and the fact that we had a friend lose his job, been searching for over three months without finding anything before, he decided to take a chance with a mlm company.  Now the company isn’t well known, but they’ve been around for quite a while as far as mlm companies go, probably about seven or eight years now.  He got started and when he told us about it we did the typical, here we go – what are you going to sell us now, kind of stare?  Well turns out he was a distributor for a large item that most small businesses would use.  Nothing on a personal level for us, but it got us talking about what a top mlm company might look like to us.

So we start talking about what we would look for that would make us consider a top notch mlm company for us.  Of course we probably all unanimously agreed that we would want to work for an mlm company because of the residual income opportunities they offer and one that didn’t require us to really have to sell anything.  A little unrealistic, yes, but we were talking about what we considered for a top mlm company.  You know something more on the ideal side, but then we got down to it and this is what we came up with.

When we thought about what a top mlm company would be, we thought they should have a product that was considered in high demand; a product that would pretty much sell itself when someone would mention it.  A company that was well branded basically, then we wanted to have a low start up cost.  Nothing outrageous, because we are clear that there are going to be some out of pocket cost associated with such a business.  And then of course we wanted a commission based plan plan that offers the ability to make money all the way down to twelve levels of person coming in under your down line, which is called a 2×12 matrix which offers a good residual income.

This would be the ideal top mlm company to work for and yes,  we finally found one with all the criteria listed above but this one is over 20 years old and what’s even better still is the fact that basically it’s a new startup which is awesome in itself but when the parent company is over 20 years you have the stability that everyone is seeking with a top mlm company.

Absolutely, Yes – it is possible to earn money from home

Are you a mom looking for a way to make money from home? There are actually many ways to work from home, and if you are just starting your search, get ready to dive in! There are opportunities to work locally off-line and globally online!

If you come from an administrative background, you can find work online as a virtual assistant. The job duties can be varied, including answering emails, making phone calls, maintaining websites, and more. If you are very adept at designing websites, there is certainly a huge market for that as well as graphic design. A copywriter (also known as ghostwriter) can make money by writing articles, sales letters, advertising copy and more for Internet Marketers. Freelance writing for newspapers and magazines is also an option for those who enjoy writing.

If you are someone who prefers to work off-line, there are still lots of possibilities. For starters, you can start a home-based daycare. If you love to organize and clean, you can set up a home business as professional organizer and get paid to clean out other people’s closets, attics, garages, etc. Another option for those who love to organize, would be to organize events. These can be events for people, such as parties and weddings; or you can organize events for businesses such as meetings, luncheons, and even business expos.

Many people have turned to direct-sales, also known as “party-plan”, to work from home. It is no longer a choice between kitchenware or make-up companies – today you can choose to sell candles, clothes, craft supplies, toys, books, jewelry and more.
